Snake Plant and its medical uses
As I already talked about snake plant in a different blog. This blog only focuses on how snake can be beneficial not only by looks as an indoor plant, but also something that it can do for you. Snake has a really great way of pleasing us, be it with the indoor air quality of the room, look of the room, and removing allergens.
Filter indoor air at all times of the day
As the snake plant is one of the few plants that converts CO2 into oxygen at night, it is a great addition to your bedroom. It also reduced the amount of toxic pollutants present in air, these pollutants include - benzene, formaldehyde, xylene, trichloroethylene and few more. It is even certified by NASA as the best air purifying plant.
Good for Mental Health
Mental Health is such an important factor in todays robot like functioning human world. And having a friend who purifies air around you and also boosts your mental status by just staring at you while you stare at him is a great deal. To me, this is 100% true and applicable, as I love having this plant in my house
Good for people who get allergies from dust and air.
People who are vulnerable to allergies when there is a lot of dust around them or if they have a disease which affects the lungs like viral cold or Asthma would feel thankful having a snake in home , I mean snake plant in home. As we talked about releasing oxygen into the air just before, this results in good air quality with good moisture content and less dust.
Have few physical remedic props.
Snakes plants just like aloe veras, althought not completely like them, have gel like substance in their leaves. This can also be used in healing wounds, burns, cuts etcetera. Als its anti-inflammatory props make it good against parasites.
