Jade plant care guide
Jade plants also termed as Money plants in the Indian subcontinent, are generally easy to grow plants. They come from succulent family which generally are kind of desert plants which tolerate a lot of sunlight even though it is direct. Their scientific name is Crassula Ovata which is indeed unique and does not go off my mind ever. Few people have a misconception that jades only need filtered or indirect sun, but that is not true, ateast in my experience with it, I never felt that my jade ever had any problem with direct sun, instead it responded really well and quick though. Also jade is part of the succulent family so it is any easy to grow plant as it needs less watering. Also propagating them is a lot easier in soil as you cut the leaf and place them horizontally on the soil.
Basic Jade tips

Toxic to dogs and cats
Jade is one of my favorite plants to grow. I really had a unique experience with jade which I will share here. When we first brought the plant home, me and my mom, the first week was a bit disappointing. The leaves of the plant were so damn sensitive that most of them drooped off. This made me depressed like, dude, it is just one freaking week, and then it starts to depress me even further when 90% of them drooped. Also, I used to water it as rare as possible which it generally asks for, which we will discuss in the watering section, also kept it in a place where it would receive perfect amount of sunlight for it to grow. Slowly all of the leaves fell off overtime. But the thing was, there were green baby leaves hanging in the branches, so I kept the plant outdoor so that it would receive morning sun, cuz our house is east facing. I used to water it eventually as it requested me to, and as I was disappointed that most of the old leaves fell of, I was also really stoked about the new leaves when they emerged. It was a really wholesome expereince. Now the plant is fully packed, I mean fully grown.
Light
Jade plant thrives in ample amount of sunlight as it is a succulent. Direct sunlight in the morning, partial sunlight in the noon and/or direct evening setting sun should do the work. That is why I love jade, pretty OP in my opinion.
Watering
Jade plants should be watered only when the soil feels dry ( thick as stone ). And while watering it, water it adequately so that the water should come from the bottom hole of your pot. This indicates that the roots receive water. You can even place it under a tap and release it until it drains from the hole below. Also remember that jades can withstand weeks of not watering as they are succulents, as I said OP. So you do not need to worry while going on vacation about watering.
Fertilizer
Jade needs to be fertilized during the growing season that is spring, it can also be fertized per week using liquid fertilizer. As it is a succulent it should be fine even if you underfeed it, but donot do so..
