Sunlight
Sunlight is a very important and also a bit of sensitive topic to talk about. A plants growth cycle is much affected by where you place it so that it could receive the adequate amount it needs. As much like its ficus family members, fiddle leaf fig also needs bright light, it can tolerate the morning sun directly, but should not be exposed to afternoo sun as the leaves might be damaged. You can shift its place so that it receives mrng sun and take it back to its place again before noon, if you do not have a recommended place. But mostly fig should be placed indoors right under or next to a window which receives only mrng sun, say east or south can also do the work.
Watering
Fig generally likes a bit of moisture content in the soil always, so its better to water it completely only when the Soil feels too dry (put your finger to see if the soil contains any moisture). Only then water your fig, cuz too much water can leaves the plant to suffer from root rot and may kill it easily.Furthermore, these plants are sensitive to high salt levels in the soil. So it is ideal to water the soil until water comes out from the bottom of the pot at least monthly. This helps to prevent salt build-up on the plant.
Pruning
As many tropical plants fiddle leaf fig also benefits a lot from pruning, as the plant will grow and expand its branches horizontally. Also remove any damaged leaves, or overgrowth so that the plant gets space to breath
Fertilizer
It is better to fertilize your fig during the growing season which is summer. Do not fertilize the plant during winter as that is when most indoor plants go to dormancy.
A small tip

Also another thing to keep in mind is that fig has violin shaped leaves which are big in size and grow upto 20cm or even more and the plant can grow upto 10ft in height. So it is better to clean the leaves with a wet cloth every week, or whenever you find the leaves dusty, because if the dust settles on the leaves then the cells will be blocked which absorb sunlight. Then the growth of the plant will become a lot slower.
